    “दसयिमे, भिक्खवे, धम्मे अप्पहाय अभब्बो अरहत्तं सच्छिकातुं। कतमे दस? रागं, दोसं, मोहं, कोधं, उपनाहं, मक्खं, पळासं, इस्सं, मच्छरियं, मानं—इमे खो, भिक्खवे, दस धम्मे अप्पहाय अभब्बो अरहत्तं सच्छिकातुं।

    “Dasayime, bhikkhave, dhamme appahāya abhabbo arahattaṁ sacchikātuṁ. Katame dasa? Rāgaṁ, dosaṁ, mohaṁ, kodhaṁ, upanāhaṁ, makkhaṁ, paḷāsaṁ, issaṁ, macchariyaṁ, mānaṁ—ime kho, bhikkhave, dasa dhamme appahāya abhabbo arahattaṁ sacchikātuṁ.

    “Bhikkhus, without giving up ten things you can’t realize perfection. What ten? Greed, hate, delusion, anger, hostility, disdain, contempt, jealousy, stinginess, and conceit. Without giving up these ten things you can’t realize perfection.

    दसयिमे, भिक्खवे, धम्मे पहाय भब्बो अरहत्तं सच्छिकातुं। कतमे दस? रागं, दोसं, मोहं, कोधं, उपनाहं, मक्खं, पळासं, इस्सं, मच्छरियं, मानं—इमे खो, भिक्खवे, दस धम्मे पहाय भब्बो अरहत्तं सच्छिकातुन्”ति।

    Dasayime, bhikkhave, dhamme pahāya bhabbo arahattaṁ sacchikātuṁ. Katame dasa? Rāgaṁ, dosaṁ, mohaṁ, kodhaṁ, upanāhaṁ, makkhaṁ, paḷāsaṁ, issaṁ, macchariyaṁ, mānaṁ—ime kho, bhikkhave, dasa dhamme pahāya bhabbo arahattaṁ sacchikātun”ti.

    After giving up ten things you can realize perfection. What ten? Greed, hate, delusion, anger, hostility, disdain, contempt, jealousy, stinginess, and conceit. After giving up these ten things you can realize perfection.”

    Tassuddānaṁ

    कामभोगी भयं दिट्ठि, वज्जियमाहितुत्तिया; कोकनुदो आहुनेय्यो, थेरो उपालि अभब्बोति।

    Kāmabhogī bhayaṁ diṭṭhi, vajjiyamāhituttiyā; Kokanudo āhuneyyo, thero upāli abhabboti.

    दुतियो पण्णासको समत्तो।
