Ācayagāmisutta
Leading to Accumulation
“आचयगामिञ्च वो, भिक्खवे, धम्मं देसेस्सामि अपचयगामिञ्च। तं सुणाथ …पे… कतमो च, भिक्खवे, आचयगामी धम्मो? पाणातिपातो …पे… मिच्छादिट्ठि—अयं वुच्चति, भिक्खवे, आचयगामी धम्मो।
“Ācayagāmiñca vo, bhikkhave, dhammaṁ desessāmi apacayagāmiñca. Taṁ suṇātha …pe… katamo ca, bhikkhave, ācayagāmī dhammo? Pāṇātipāto …pe… micchādiṭṭhi—ayaṁ vuccati, bhikkhave, ācayagāmī dhammo.
“I will teach you the principle that leads to accumulation and that which leads to dispersal. … And what is the principle that leads to accumulation? Killing living creatures … wrong view. This is called the principle that leads to accumulation.
कतमो च, भिक्खवे, अपचयगामी धम्मो? पाणातिपाता वेरमणी …पे… सम्मादिट्ठि—अयं वुच्चति, भिक्खवे, अपचयगामी धम्मो”ति।
Katamo ca, bhikkhave, apacayagāmī dhammo? Pāṇātipātā veramaṇī …pe… sammādiṭṭhi—ayaṁ vuccati, bhikkhave, apacayagāmī dhammo”ti.
And what is the principle that leads to dispersal? Not killing living creatures … right view. This is called the principle that leads to dispersal.”
