Actinomyces odontolyticus
Definition 1
A species of anaerobic, Gram positive, rod shaped bacteria assigned to the phylum Actinobacteria. This bacteria reduces nitrates, is urease negative and does not produce acid from mannitol. A. odontolyticus is found in mucus membranes and is an opportunistic pathogen. (NCI Thesaurus)
