    Stealing

    “चतूहि, भिक्खवे, धम्मेहि समन्नागतो यथाभतं निक्खित्तो एवं निरये। कतमेहि चतूहि? अत्तना च अदिन्नादायी होति, परञ्च अदिन्नादाने समादपेति, अदिन्नादाने च समनुञ्ञो होति, अदिन्नादानस्स च वण्णं भासति—इमेहि खो …पे…।

    “Catūhi, bhikkhave, dhammehi samannāgato yathābhataṁ nikkhitto evaṁ niraye. Katamehi catūhi? Attanā ca adinnādāyī hoti, parañca adinnādāne samādapeti, adinnādāne ca samanuñño hoti, adinnādānassa ca vaṇṇaṁ bhāsati—imehi kho …pe….

    “Bhikkhus, someone with four qualities is cast down to hell. What four? They themselves steal … Someone with four qualities is raised up to heaven. …

    अत्तना च अदिन्नादाना पटिविरतो होति, परञ्च अदिन्नादाना वेरमणिया समादपेति, अदिन्नादाना वेरमणिया च समनुञ्ञो होति, अदिन्नादाना वेरमणिया च वण्णं भासति—इमेहि खो, भिक्खवे …पे…।
