    Agar Dilution Method

    A method to determine microbial susceptibility to antibiotics in which test bacteria is inoculated onto agar plates with serial dilutions of know quantities of antibiotics. The minimum inhibitory concentration of antibiotic is assessed. (NCI Thesaurus)
