Interior and Cause Are Suffering

“Bhikkhus, the eye is suffering. The cause and reason that gives rise to the eye is also suffering. Since the eye is produced by what is suffering, how could it be happiness?
जिव्हा दुक्खा। योपि हेतु, योपि पच्चयो जिव्हाय उप्पादाय, सोपि दुक्खो। दुक्खसम्भूता, भिक्खवे, जिव्हा कुतो सुखा भविस्सति …पे… मनो दुक्खो। योपि हेतु योपि पच्चयो मनस्स उप्पादाय, सोपि दुक्खो। दुक्खसम्भूतो, भिक्खवे, मनो कुतो सुखो भविस्सति।
jivhā dukkhā. Yopi hetu, yopi paccayo jivhāya uppādāya, sopi dukkho. Dukkhasambhūtā, bhikkhave, jivhā kuto sukhā bhavissati …pe… mano dukkho. Yopi hetu yopi paccayo manassa uppādāya, sopi dukkho. Dukkhasambhūto, bhikkhave, mano kuto sukho bhavissati.
The ear … nose … tongue … body … mind is suffering. The cause and reason that gives rise to the mind is also suffering. Since the mind is produced by what is suffering, how could it be happiness?
एवं पस्सं …पे… नापरं इत्थत्तायाऽति पजानाती”ति।
Evaṁ passaṁ …pe… nāparaṁ itthattāyā’ti pajānātī”ti.
Seeing this … They understand: ‘… there is no return to any state of existence.’”
