Ungrateful
“चतूहि, भिक्खवे, धम्मेहि समन्नागतो यथाभतं निक्खित्तो एवं निरये। कतमेहि चतूहि? कायदुच्चरितेन, वचीदुच्चरितेन, मनोदुच्चरितेन, अकतञ्ञुता अकतवेदिता—इमेहि खो, भिक्खवे, चतूहि धम्मेहि समन्नागतो यथाभतं निक्खित्तो एवं निरये।
“Catūhi, bhikkhave, dhammehi samannāgato yathābhataṁ nikkhitto evaṁ niraye. Katamehi catūhi? Kāyaduccaritena, vacīduccaritena, manoduccaritena, akataññutā akataveditā—imehi kho, bhikkhave, catūhi dhammehi samannāgato yathābhataṁ nikkhitto evaṁ niraye.
“Bhikkhus, someone with four qualities is cast down to hell. What four? Bad conduct by way of body, speech, and mind, and being ungrateful and thankless. Someone with these four qualities is cast down to hell.
चतूहि, भिक्खवे, धम्मेहि समन्नागतो यथाभतं निक्खित्तो एवं सग्गे। कतमेहि चतूहि? कायसुचरितेन, वचीसुचरितेन, मनोसुचरितेन, कतञ्ञुता कतवेदिता—इमेहि खो, भिक्खवे, चतूहि धम्मेहि समन्नागतो यथाभतं निक्खित्तो एवं सग्गे”ति।

Someone with four qualities is raised up to heaven. What four? Good conduct by way of body, speech, and mind, and being grateful and thankful. Someone with these four qualities is raised up to heaven.”
