    Amonafide Dihydrochloride

    Definition 1

    The dihydrochloride salt of amonafide, an imide derivative of naphthalic acid. Amonafide intercalates into DNA and inhibits topoisomerase II, resulting in protein-associated strand breaks and impaired DNA and RNA synthesis. (NCI Thesaurus)
