    Ampullectomy

    A therapeutic endoscopic procedure performed to remove adenomas from the ampulla of Vater. It involves the excision of the ampulla of Vater and the implantation of the common bile duct and pancreatic main duct into the wall of duodenum. (NCI Thesaurus)
