Anāgāmiphalasutta
The Fruit of Non-Return
“छ, भिक्खवे, धम्मे अप्पहाय अभब्बो अनागामिफलं सच्छिकातुं। कतमे छ? अस्सद्धियं, अहिरिकं, अनोत्तप्पं, कोसज्जं, मुट्ठस्सच्चं, दुप्पञ्ञतं—इमे खो, भिक्खवे, छ धम्मे अप्पहाय अभब्बो अनागामिफलं सच्छिकातुं।
“Cha, bhikkhave, dhamme appahāya abhabbo anāgāmiphalaṁ sacchikātuṁ. Katame cha? Assaddhiyaṁ, ahirikaṁ, anottappaṁ, kosajjaṁ, muṭṭhassaccaṁ, duppaññataṁ—ime kho, bhikkhave, cha dhamme appahāya abhabbo anāgāmiphalaṁ sacchikātuṁ.
“Bhikkhus, without giving up six things you can’t realize the fruit of non-return. What six? Lack of faith, conscience, and prudence; laziness, unmindfulness, and witlessness. Without giving up these six things you can’t realize the fruit of non-return.
छ, भिक्खवे, धम्मे पहाय भब्बो अनागामिफलं सच्छिकातुं। कतमे छ? अस्सद्धियं, अहिरिकं, अनोत्तप्पं, कोसज्जं, मुट्ठस्सच्चं, दुप्पञ्ञतं—इमे खो, भिक्खवे, छ धम्मे पहाय भब्बो अनागामिफलं सच्छिकातुन्”ति।
