“ये ते, भिक्खवे, भिक्खू अनापत्तिं आपत्तीति दीपेन्ति ते, भिक्खवे, भिक्खू बहुजनअहिताय पटिपन्ना बहुजनअसुखाय, बहुनो जनस्स अनत्थाय अहिताय दुक्खाय देवमनुस्सानं। बहुञ्च ते, भिक्खवे, भिक्खू अपुञ्ञं पसवन्ति, ते चिमं सद्धम्मं अन्तरधापेन्ती”ति।
“Ye te, bhikkhave, bhikkhū anāpattiṁ āpattīti dīpenti te, bhikkhave, bhikkhū bahujanaahitāya paṭipannā bahujanaasukhāya, bahuno janassa anatthāya ahitāya dukkhāya devamanussānaṁ. Bahuñca te, bhikkhave, bhikkhū apuññaṁ pasavanti, te cimaṁ saddhammaṁ antaradhāpentī”ti.
“Bhikkhus, those bhikkhus who explain non-offense as an offense are acting for the hurt and unhappiness of the people, for the harm, hurt, and suffering of gods and humans. They make much bad karma and make the true teaching disappear.”

Those bhikkhus make much bad karma and make the true teaching disappear.”
