Free of Hostility
“पञ्चहि, अनुरुद्ध, धम्मेहि समन्नागतो मातुगामो कायस्स भेदा परं मरणा सुगतिं सग्गं लोकं उपपज्जति। कतमेहि पञ्चहि? सद्धो च होति, हिरिमा च होति, ओत्तप्पी च होति, अनुपनाही च होति, पञ्ञवा च होति—इमेहि खो, अनुरुद्ध, पञ्चहि धम्मेहि समन्नागतो मातुगामो कायस्स भेदा परं मरणा सुगतिं सग्गं लोकं उपपज्जती”ति।
“Pañcahi, anuruddha, dhammehi samannāgato mātugāmo kāyassa bhedā paraṁ maraṇā sugatiṁ saggaṁ lokaṁ upapajjati. Katamehi pañcahi? Saddho ca hoti, hirimā ca hoti, ottappī ca hoti, anupanāhī ca hoti, paññavā ca hoti—imehi kho, anuruddha, pañcahi dhammehi samannāgato mātugāmo kāyassa bhedā paraṁ maraṇā sugatiṁ saggaṁ lokaṁ upapajjatī”ti.
