Noble Expressions
“अट्ठिमे, भिक्खवे, अरियवोहारा। कतमे अट्ठ? अदिट्ठे अदिट्ठवादिता, असुते असुतवादिता, अमुते अमुतवादिता, अविञ्ञाते अविञ्ञातवादिता, दिट्ठे दिट्ठवादिता, सुते सुतवादिता, मुते मुतवादिता, विञ्ञाते विञ्ञातवादिता। इमे खो, भिक्खवे, अट्ठ अरियवोहारा”ति।
“Aṭṭhime, bhikkhave, ariyavohārā. Katame aṭṭha? Adiṭṭhe adiṭṭhavāditā, asute asutavāditā, amute amutavāditā, aviññāte aviññātavāditā, diṭṭhe diṭṭhavāditā, sute sutavāditā, mute mutavāditā, viññāte viññātavāditā. Ime kho, bhikkhave, aṭṭha ariyavohārā”ti.
“Bhikkhus, there are these eight noble expressions. What eight? Saying you haven’t seen, heard, thought, or known something, and you haven’t. And saying you’ve seen, heard, thought, or known something, and you have. These are the eight noble expressions.”
