Azalanstat
A synthetic imidazole that inhibits hepatic cholesterol biosynthesis by inhibiting the cytochrome P450 enzyme lanosterol 14alpha-demethylase. In an animal model, Azalanstat lowered serum cholesterol in a dose-depended manner. (NCI Thesaurus)
