    BAGE Tumor Antigen

The BAGE gene family encodes CT antigens, recognized by cytotoxic T-lymphocytes. BAGE is expressed in normal adult testis and in some melanomas, infiltrating bladder carcinomas, mammary carcinomas, head and neck squamous cell carcinomas, and non-small cell lung carcinomas. The function of BAGE protein is unknown. (NCI Thesaurus)
