“पञ्चिमानि, भिक्खवे, बलानि। कतमानि पञ्च? सद्धाबलं, हिरिबलं, ओत्तप्पबलं, वीरियबलं, पञ्ञाबलं—इमानि खो, भिक्खवे, पञ्च बलानी”ति।
“Pañcimāni, bhikkhave, balāni. Katamāni pañca? Saddhābalaṁ, hiribalaṁ, ottappabalaṁ, vīriyabalaṁ, paññābalaṁ—imāni kho, bhikkhave, pañca balānī”ti.
“Bhikkhus, there are these five powers. What five? Faith, conscience, prudence, energy, and wisdom. These are the five powers.”
