Bartonella Infection
A gram-negative bacterial infection caused by Bartonella bacilliformis. It is transmitted by ticks, flies and mosquitoes. Signs and symptoms include fever, headache, muscle pain, enlargement of the lymph nodes and anemia. (NCI Thesaurus)
