    Bile Duct Papillary Neoplasm with an Associated Invasive Carcinoma

    A papillary epithelial neoplasm that arises from the epithelium of the intrahepatic or extrahepatic bile ducts and it is associated with an invasive carcinomatous component. For intraductal papillary neoplasms of the intrahepatic bile ducts, the carcinomatous component is an intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma; for intraductal papillary neoplasms of the extrahepatic bile ducts, the carcinomatous component is an adenocarcinoma.
