Cellulosimicrobium cellulans
Definition 1
A species of facultatively aerobic, Gram-positive, rod shaped bacterium assigned to the phylum Actinobacteria. This species is nonmotile, non-spore forming catalase positive, oxidase negative, reduces nitrate, and hydrolyzes starch and gelatin. C. cellulans is normally found in soil and is pathogenic to immunocompromised patients. (NCI Thesaurus)
