Cesalin
An antineoplastic protein isolated from the seeds of the plant Caesalpinia gilliesii with antineoplastic activity. Cesalin intercalates into and crosslinks DNA and inhibits the incorporation of the nucleotides uridine and thymidine into DNA, thereby inhibiting DNA and protein synthesis. (NCI Thesaurus)
