    Chlorodihydropyrimidine

    A pyrimidine derivative with antitumor activity. Chlorodihydropyrimidine competitively and reversibly inhibits dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase, a rate-limiting enzyme in the catabolism of fluoropyrimidines thereby blocking the degradation of the fluoropyrimidines. (NCI Thesaurus)
