    CLTC/ALK Fusion Gene

    A fusion gene that results from a chromosomal translocation t(2;17)(p23;q23) which fuses the first 31 exons of the CLTC gene with the last ten exons of the ALK gene. This fusion is associated with both anaplastic large cell lymphoma and inflammatory myofibroblastic tumors. (NCI Thesaurus)
