Corynebacterium matruchotii
Definition 1
A species of aerobic or facultatively anaerobic, Gram-positive, coryneform, pleomorphic bacilli assigned to the phylum Actinobacteria. This species is nonmotile, non-spore forming, catalase positive, reduces nitrate, does not produce hydrogen sulfide, non-lipophilic, and is indole negative. C. matruchotii is present in human dental plaques. (NCI Thesaurus)
