CTAG1A wt Allele
Human CTAG1A wild-type allele is located in the vicinity of Xq28 and is approximately 2 kb in length. This allele, which encodes cancer/testis antigen 1 protein, may play a role in both spermatogeneis and development of the testes. Aberrant expression of this gene is associated with incontinentia pigmenti. (NCI Thesaurus)
