Moderate pain; pain or analgesics interfering with function, but not interfering with ADL

Symptomatic; altered GI function (e.g., altered dietary habits, vomiting, diarrhea, or GI fluid loss); IV fluids indicated <24 hrs

Partial resection of injured organ/structure indicated
