    DLEC1 Protein

Encoded by human DLEC1 Gene, 1755-amino acid 195.8-kD DLEC1 Protein is a putative negative regulator of cell proliferation. DLC1 appears to suppress the growth of some cancer cell lines. Aberrant expression may be involved in carcinogenesis of the lung, esophagus, and kidney. (from LocusLink, Swiss-Prot, OMIM, and NCI) (NCI Thesaurus)
