“ඡහි, භික්ඛවේ, අඞ්ගේහි සමන්නාගතෝ රඤ්ඤෝ භද්‍රෝ අස්සාජානීයෝ රාජාරහෝ හෝති රාජභෝග්ගෝ, රඤ්ඤෝ අඞ්ගන්ත්වේව සඞ්ඛං ගච්ඡති. කතමේහි ඡහි? ඉධ, භික්ඛවේ, රඤ්ඤෝ භද්‍රෝ අස්සාජානීයෝ ඛමෝ හෝති රූපානං, ඛමෝ සද්දානං, ඛමෝ ගන්ධානං, ඛමෝ රසානං, ඛමෝ ඵෝට්ඨබ්බානං, බලසම්පන්නෝ ච හෝති. ඉමේහි ඛෝ, භික්ඛවේ, ඡහි අඞ්ගේහි සමන්නාගතෝ රඤ්ඤෝ භද්‍රෝ අස්සාජානීයෝ රාජාරහෝ හෝති රාජභෝග්ගෝ, රඤ්ඤෝ අඞ්ගන්ත්වේව සඞ්ඛං ගච්ඡති.
“Bhikkhus, a fine royal thoroughbred with six factors is worthy of a king, fit to serve a king, and is considered a factor of kingship. What six? It’s when a fine royal thoroughbred can endure sights, sounds, smells, tastes, and touches. And it’s strong. A fine royal thoroughbred with these six factors is worthy of a king, fit to serve a king, and is considered a factor of kingship.
ඒවමේවං ඛෝ, භික්ඛවේ, ඡහි ධම්මේහි සමන්නාගතෝ භික්ඛු ආහුනේය්‍යෝ …පේ… අනුත්තරං පුඤ්ඤක්ඛේත්තං ලෝකස්ස. කතමේහි ඡහි? ඉධ, භික්ඛවේ, භික්ඛු ඛමෝ හෝති රූපානං …පේ… ඛමෝ ධම්මානං. ඉමේහි ඛෝ, භික්ඛවේ, ඡහි ධම්මේහි සමන්නාගතෝ භික්ඛු ආහුනේය්‍යෝ හෝති …පේ… අනුත්තරං පුඤ්ඤක්ඛේත්තං ලෝකස්සා”ති.
In the same way, a bhikkhu with six qualities is worthy of offerings dedicated to the gods, worthy of hospitality, worthy of a religious donation, worthy of veneration with joined palms, and is the supreme field of merit for the world. What six? It’s when a bhikkhu can endure sights, sounds, smells, tastes, touches, and thoughts. A bhikkhu with these six qualities is worthy of offerings dedicated to the gods, worthy of hospitality, worthy of a religious donation, worthy of veneration with joined palms, and is the supreme field of merit for the world.”
