    Expressions (2nd)

    “चत्तारोमे, भिक्खवे, अरियवोहारा। कतमे चत्तारो? अदिट्ठे अदिट्ठवादिता, असुते असुतवादिता, अमुते अमुतवादिता, अविञ्ञाते अविञ्ञातवादिता—इमे खो, भिक्खवे, चत्तारो अरियवोहारा”ति।

    “Cattārome, bhikkhave, ariyavohārā. Katame cattāro? Adiṭṭhe adiṭṭhavāditā, asute asutavāditā, amute amutavāditā, aviññāte aviññātavāditā—Ime kho, bhikkhave, cattāro ariyavohārā”ti.

    “Bhikkhus, there are these four noble expressions. What four? Saying you haven’t seen, heard, thought, or known something, and you haven’t. These are the four noble expressions.”
