Eligibility Waiver
An approved exemption to the requirement for a participant to meet eligibility criteria prior to study enrollment. A sponsor-approved waiver is necessary when a subject fails to meet enrollment criteria, but wishes to be accrued to the trial. (NCI Thesaurus)
