    Encapsulated Thyroid Gland Papillary Carcinoma

    A papillary carcinoma of the thyroid gland which is encapsulated and resembles an encapsulated follicular neoplasm. Despite the complete encapsulation, metastasis can occur. The prognosis is usually similar to that of conventional papillary carcinoma. (NCI Thesaurus)
