    Estrogen Sulfotransferase Inhibitor

    Any substance that inhibits estrogen sulfotransferase, an enzyme that catalyzes the sulfurylation of estrogen, modulating systemic and local estrogen levels and estrogen-mediated responses. Inhibition of estrogen sulfotransferase may be used to suppress estrogen-dependent processes. (NCI Thesaurus)
