Ethyl Methanesulfonate
A sulfonoxyalkane with carcinogenic and teratogenic properties. Ethyl methanesulfonate ethylates DNA, thereby damaging DNA and leading to genetic mutations, single-stranded breaks in DNA, and chromosomal aberrations.
