Extramural Nodule
A small aggregate of cells found in adipose tissues, particularly those attached to the colon where the architectural details of the lymph node cannot be identified with certainty under the microscope. It may represent a lymph node completely replaced by metastatic cancer. (NCI Thesaurus)
