Familial Mediterranean Fever
A usually autosomal recessive inherited inflammatory disorder caused by mutations in the MEFV gene. It is characterized by recurrent painful inflammatory attacks in the abdomen, joints, and chest. The inflammatory attacks are associated with fever. (NCI Thesaurus)
