Fetal Heart Rate Variability
Fluctuations in the baseline fetal heart rate, determined in a 10 minute window while excluding accelerations and decelerations. They are irregular in amplitude and frequency and are visually quantitated as the amplitude of the peak to trough in beats per minute. Sinusoidal patterns are also excluded. (NCI Thesaurus)
