Fezakinumab
A human monoclonal antibody directed against interleukin-22 (IL-22) with anti-inflammatory activity. Fezakinumab binds to IL-22 and prevents the activity of this interleukin. This leads to an inhibition of inflammation. IL-22, a cytokine and member of the IL-10 superfamily, plays a key role during inflammatory responses. (NCI Thesaurus)
