FGFR1OP/FGFR1 Fusion Gene
A fusion gene that results from a chromosomal translocation t(6;8)(q27;p11) that fuses exon 5, 6 or 7 of the FGFR1OP gene with exon 9 of the FGFR1 gene. This translocation is associated with 8p11 myeloproliferative disorder. (NCI Thesaurus)
