    Fibroblast Growth Factor 6

Fibroblast Growth Factor 6 is encoded by the HST2 proto-oncogene and belongs to the heparin-binding growth factor family. FGF6 exhibits strong mitogenic and angiogenic properties and may be expressed by cells with platelet/megakaryocytic differentiation potential. (from Swiss-Prot P10767 and NCI) (NCI Thesaurus)
