Flap Endonuclease 1
Flap endonuclease 1 (380 aa, ~43 kDa) is encoded by the human FEN1 gene. This protein is involved in both the removal of 5' overhangs during DNA repair and the processing of the 5' end of Okazaki fragments during DNA replication. (NCI Thesaurus)
