    Fluorescent Antibody Procedure

    Definition 1

    An immunological procedure in which the antibodies are coupled with molecules which fluoresce under ultra violet (UV) light. This makes them particularly suitable for detection of specific antigens in tissues or on cells. (NCI Thesaurus)
