Fred Hutchinson/University of Washington Cancer Consortium
The Fred Hutchinson/University of Washington Cancer Consortium is a research collaboration comprising the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, the University of Washington, Seattle Children's Hospital, and the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. The consortium's mission is the elimination of cancer and related diseases as causes of human suffering and death. The Center became designated as an NCI comprehensive center in 1976, which was expanded to include the entire Consortium in 2003. (NCI Thesaurus)
