Frizzled 2
Frizzled 2, encoded by the human FZD2 gene, is a 7-transmembrane domain protein that is a receptor with a role in transmembrane signal transmission for Wnt signaling proteins. The expression of the FZD2 gene appears to be developmentally regulated, with high levels of expression in fetal kidney and lung and in adult colon and ovary. (From LocusLink and NCI) (NCI Thesaurus)
