Globicatella sanguinis
Definition 1
A species of facultatively anaerobic, gram positive cocci shaped bacteria assigned to the Phylum Firmicutes. This species is catalase negative and does not produce hydrogen sulfide. G. sanguinis is rarely isolated from clinical samples but may be a causative agent of meningoencephalitis. (NCI Thesaurus)
