GLTSCR1 wt Allele

Human GLTSCR1 wild-type allele is located in the vicinity of 19q13.3 and is approximately 24 kb in length. This allele, which encodes glioma tumor suppressor candidate region gene 1 protein, plays a putative role in the inhibition of cell growth. The GLTSCR1 gene is frequently deleted in gliomas.
