Gordonia aichiensis

A species of aerobic, Gram positive, coryneform bacteria assigned to the phylum Actinobacteria. This species is catalase positive, slightly acid fast, nonmotile and metabolizes 4 aminobutyrate and L aspartate. G. aichiensis is an opportunistic pathogen in immunocompetent and immunosuppressed patients. (NCI Thesaurus)
