Gottingen Pig
The smallest of the common miniature breeds, this breed is 10-14kg at sexual maturity with a shortened snout and rounded appearance. The Gottingen pig has white skin and hair. It is used in a variety of applications in biomedical research including cardiovascular studies, and its small size makes it an ideal animal model due to its relative ease of handling and smaller housing requirements.
