High Grade Pedunculated Tubular Dysplasia of the Mouse Intestinal Tract

There are both architectural and cytologic changes. There is marked reduction of interglandular stroma with complex irregularity of glands. There is a high nuclear to cytoplasm ratio. The cell nuclei are large, ovoid to round and are not basally located with marked irregular nuclear membranes, cleared, vesicular, clumped, or densely hyperchromatic chromatin, and large conspicuous nucleoli. Mucus is typically absent. Mitotic activity is prominent. (NCI Thesaurus/MMHCC)
