HSP90AA1 wt Allele
Human HSP90AA1 wild-type allele is located in the vicinity of 14q32.33 and is approximately 59 kb in length. This allele, which encodes heat shock protein HSP 90-alpha, plays a role in both nitric oxide metabolism and protein folding. A chromosomal translocation t(3;14)(q27;q32) of this gene and the BCL6 gene is associated with B cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma. (NCI Thesaurus)
