HuAFP31
A monoclonal antibody being studied in the treatment of several types of cancer. Monoclonal antibodies are made in the laboratory and can locate and bind to substances in the body, including cancer cells. HuAFP31 attaches to tumor cells that make alpha fetoprotein (AFP). This makes it easier for T cells to find and kill the tumor cells. (NCI Dictionary)
