    Individual National Research Service Award

National Research Service Awards (NRSA) are made to individual fellowship applicants selected for award as a result of national competition for research training in specified health-related areas. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) awards NRSA individual postdoctoral fellowships (F32) to the most promising applicants to support full-time research training related to the mission of the NIH awarding components. Some specialized individual predoctoral fellowships (F31s and F30s) and Senior Fellowships (F33s) are also provided under the NRSA. (NRSA Guide: Sections I and II) (NCI Thesaurus)
